The TAP Alliance in conjunction with Mississippi State University will host Kauffman FastTrac® NewVenture™ Entrepreneurship Program training at Northeast at Corinth on Monday evenings beginning Monday, March 23, 2015. The training will be held on Mondays for nine (9) consecutive weeks from 6 – 8:30 p.m. and is open for those interested in starting their own business or who have recently opened a business. Longtime community advocate and outgoing Alliance CEO Jimmy Caldwell presided over The Alliance’s 20th Annual Meeting on November 6. The keynote speaker was Heidi Smith, TVA Economic Development’s Director of Global Business. Ms. Smith toured The Alliance’s new RailHub site the afternoon of the banquet.

Four community volunteers were honored for their significant contributions to the betterment of Corinth and Alcorn County.

Alliance Hosts 2014 Agriculture and Industry Tour

The Alliance hosted the tour in October with tours of the Alcorn County Vocational Center and Caterpillar’s Large Engine Facility where the C175 engine is being remanned.
