LEADERSHIP ALCORN
Please complete each section fully and limit responses to the space provided. Application must be completed by Friday, September 15, 2023. Selection of participants is blind and is conducted by a panel of volunteer judges. All applicants will be contacted no later than September 29, 2023. If you are not selected to participate in this year’s class, we strongly encourage you to apply again next year.
As part of Leadership Alcorn, participants will be required, as a class, to complete one long-term impact community service project or one strategic doing project prior to graduation in May 2024. More information about this will be shared during the class. Additionally, participants will be required to complete a maximum of four (4) individual projects and will be able to select projects from a list that includes activities such as attend a Corinth Symphony concert, organize a litter pick-up, volunteer for 2-4 hours with a local non-profit, attend a Corinth Theatre Arts production, etc.
The cost to participate is $400 which covers meals, transportation, etc. Tuition must be paid in full prior to the opening retreat on October 17, 2023.
All graduates of the 2024 class of Leadership Alcorn will become the founding members of the Leadership Alcorn alumni group and will have involvement in planning future programs.

Commitment:
All selected participants must commit 100% to the Leadership Alcorn program. If you are unable to make this commitment, it is not in your best interest to apply at this time. Participation in the opening retreat on October 17, 2023 is mandatory. If you are unable to attend or have to cancel, then participation in the program will have to wait for another year. Participants are expected to attend all program days which will take place, in general, from 9:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. on the days list below. Absenteeism may result in being dropped from the program unless there are extenuating circumstances and if so, only one absence will be allowed in order to stay in the program.
